SOLID Twist & Basket Series

Woodstairs.com Twist & Basket series solid wrought iron balusters contain some of our popular spindle designs. They are extremely versatile and are often used in combinations with our Versatile and Scroll Series balusters or in combination with Wood Balusters. The balusters in this series are 1/2" square (meaning the bar at the top and bottom) and they have a 1/2" doweled top for ease of installation into any of our wood handrails.  Our Wrought Iron Balusters are available in several standard Powder Coat Options.  You can click the "Metal Wheel"  here to see our selections or click the large "Wheel" on any of our Wrought Iron Product Pages below the Product Image.  We can also Powder Coat custom colors.  Just let us know what you need.  Finally check out our StairBuilder to create patterns before you make your final selections.  More info below.

 If you want more information about wrought iron balusters, including comparisons, design and installation, you can find related articles here.   Another thing to consider is how you plan to install your balusters into your treads or landing shoe.  While it is possible to install iron balusters without Iron Baluster Shoes, the use of Shoes makes installation much easier and adds a decorative detail to each baluster.  You  will see the most commonly used Baluster Shoes at the bottom of this category but we offer others as well in Iron Baluster Accessories, available in both Aluminum and Iron and powder coated to match your balusters.
