Bending Landing Tread

Bending Landing Tread is a stair part that is used to finish the edge of a curved floor level or intermediate landing balustrade.  Bending Shoe Plate can be used for same purpose as well as to cap the top of curb or knee walls.  Either of these options provide the foundation of your balustrade into which the balusters and newel posts are secured.  Our bending profiles are precision milled from grain matched lumber into keyed pieces that lock together and are laminated to fit the exact shape of your curved balustrade.  Some of our customers also add Shoe Rails on top for additional detail and ease of installation when using wood balusters.  If you have questions or need custom designs or installation assistance contact us any time at at CustomersFirst@WoodStairs.com or 888-390-7245
