Our 6109 Versatile Bending Handrail is just that, versatile. It is a simple, elegant design that can be used with balustrades, as a wall mounted rail or with its large base, plowed to accept square top or craftsman balusters. The 6019 handrail is 1 7/8″ Wide x 2 7/8″ Tall and comes in 9 splices for a minimum bending radius of 36″ on the rake and 48″ on floor level bends. This handrail does not require bending molding.
Note: Real wood is a product of nature, therefore, no two pieces are alike. Solid wood grain patterns are expected to vary, making each stair part uniquely beautiful. Due to the difference in the ways a tree grows, the availability of different wood species may also vary in character, lengths, widths, and color. On occasion, some linear stair parts, such as handrail, may require staggered joints in order to provide longer length stair parts. For example, the lumber from an Alder tree is rarely longer than 10′, so to obtain a 14′ handrail this would require some form of joint (rarely noticeable once finished).
