The LIH-HOLPLA44 Plain Bar Baluster is a plain square baluster that is often used to separate other balusters in a design or to add space between patterns-within-the-pattern to make the more detailed design stand out. Our Hollow Versatile Series Balusters are 1/2″ square by 44″ Tall. They have a round, doweled, top for easy installation into any of our wood handrails. As their name suggests they are extremely versatile and are often used with balusters in Wood, Twist and Basket and Scroll Series to create virtually unlimited design possibilities. These hollow versions are lighter weight, less expensive and easier to cut. Low sheen black and Matte Nickel shoes are only available in LI-ALM06 and LI-ALPHS02. Each and every baluster is handmade, which means no two are exactly alike; the slight variations in the details add exceptional character to any stairway. Our iron balusters are available in several powder-coated finishes. Finishes may vary. *Oil Rubbed Bronze variations may have more variation than other types due to the finish.
